The documentary comes from the same guy that brought us super size me. Now Morgan Spurlock who is expecting to become a dad for the first time uses his documentary style to ask what type of world is he brining a kid into? Spurlock who ignores a lot of advice on not to travel in the middle east does so to ask and try to find out where in the world is Osama Bin Laden.
On the trip through many countries such as Egypt, Morocco, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Spurlock interviews many people from extreme outspoken radicals to government leaders. An interesting point to see when watching this movie was that nearly most of the people that Spurlock spoke with cast Osama as a "ridiculous Muslim", another question that I thought was interesting is what effect would it have if Osama was caught, the conclusion I came to after seeing this movie was the same Spurlock came to and that was nothing at all. The same problems would still be around and because of this Spurlock decides to end his journey early.
There's some interesting material in this documentary and even though its dumbed down a bit was still interesting to watch and follow along, while the silly animations did put me off a little the documentary its self was well worth watching. Osama bin Laden is a hero amongst his followers. Ever wonder how he became so popular and loved, before he became so hated by the Western World? Well it is a long story indeed and goes back over four decades. One historian type from the Middle East puts it like this;
“Have a look at Afghanistan who did put Osama in power and seat back and watch him torching people for 20 years and did noting just because they wanted someone their who is against communists.”
This is not really news to anyone everyone knows of this in the United States. At the time we unfortunately were at non-war with Russia (Cold War Era) and OBL was the son of a wealthy Saudi construction man, who was working with the US, although he was a little bitter at the US way of doing business. As Osama bin Laden grew in that wealthy family he has some animosity, but also understood business. OBL was a freedom fighter against the Russian invasion in Afghanistan. The US donated stinger missiles and CIA advisors to help OBL defend Afghanistan against attack, as they were completely out numbered and out gunned.
So you see much of Osama bin Laden’s rise to power and some say his ability to carry out the mission of 911 was a little bit of the United State’s blame too. Although nothing justifies the attacks of 911, one could say, we created OBL decades the prior. So consider all this in 2006.
Well it appears the other day when Osama bin Laden let the world know that he was still alive and kicking and out to rid the World of the Westerners and Infidels, gave us a little demo in Egypt. Apparently unable to hit US Targets instead the Al Queda group attacked and bombed three different; soft targets in Egypt.
It has been reported that more than 90 people reported killed or injured in 3 explosions in the Town of Dahab. The Egyptian Interior Ministry official confirmed the attack. The explosions rocked the city, which is a resort city. Although there are conflicting news reports now some say 100 people died and other reports have been as low as 25.
Two days ago Egypt claimed to have caught 25-international terrorists and killed them who were planning to kidnap American Tourists. It appears that Al Queda attack was in response to Egypt’s crack down on international terrorism and alignment with the Western World. The Al Queda Osama bin Laden type International Terrorist attack in Egypt is still another sign that the war on terrorism is on-going and continues to progress at an increased rate. President Bush condemned the attacks and told America we would not yield to the International Terrorists. Consider all this in 2006.
Apparently, there are some missing CIA torture tapes somewhere, that have been destroyed. Democrats are using this to attack Republicans and further Malign the Bush Administration, but that is just politics as usual and we can expect such things to occur, no surprise there. But, let's put the politics aside for a moment and consider the bigger picture here, without condoning what was or wasn't done, because there is no proof either way.
Regardless of who destroyed the tapes or why, one should consider what happened last time tapes ended up in public. The Abu Grave tapes ended up on the Internet. That damaged our mission in Iraq and nixed the chances of"winning the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people" even after the wonderful purple finger voting and signs that democracy was on the march.
If such tapes were used as a political football by the Democrats during this election process, that could have really hurt all our efforts in Iraq and the trillion plus dollars spent. Additionally, lets not forget that we have Video Tapes, played on Al Jazeera of Al Qaeda, cutting off the heads of captured civilians. Plus, we have found torture chambers from Saddam Hussein, and insurgents, where power tools, drills, etc, have been used on folks and those who made it out alive have holes in their skulls and bodies.
Those tapes, no matter what was on them, mild or fairly bad - should be destroyed. It is in the best interest of our nation. Regardless of the after the fact reality of why terrorists (who plan on killing innocent civilians) were supposedly tortures or not, or to what degree. If the White House ordered them deleted from the record and incinerated, then actually that is a good thing. Besides, it is time to bridge the gap and let the partisan politics that govern fabricated realities and feed the mass media hysteria, have the Christmas Vacation off.
Americans deserve a break from this stuff. Everyone should take a deep breath and come back after the holidays and forget about this episode. We have more important things to worry about right now and we need not divide ourselves, spread negativity or give more excuses to the World Media, which seems to condemn us every chance they get. Something to contemplate in 2008.

The truth of Bin Laden, as we all suspect, is that he was a spoiled rich kid who became compulsive about compensatory behavior and decided his role in life was to bomb sources of wealth, particularly, the great source he could excuse as being conducted by infidels, as emblazoned on the world’s consciousness as The World Trade Center.
Only trouble is, the tantrums of his disgruntled child within cost a lot of wonderful, innocent people their lives and traumatized their families beyond description.
The other truth is, he turned out to be a rat in every sense of the word, because when pursued he scurried into a hole where neither all the Pres’s men nor all the Pres’s allies could get him to come out again.
Now, the world can turn its justifiably vengeful attention to Ayman al-Zawahiri, his terrorist sidekick. Unfortunately, he’s a lapsed pediatrician, so he may remember enough about sanitary practices to avoid water that might contain typhus.
We can only be consoled that in each video he looks closer to falling over from old age and ill health, even while he’s maniacally recording yet more of his invocations to murder and mayhem.
But back to Bin Laden. He met his end, as most monsters do, because of how he chose to trouble us. If he had been sane and conducted his life proudly as a responsible member of the Bin Laden family, he would not have found himself in a place where typhoid fever was a likely intruder in his domicile and, if by some chance, it did intrude, he would have received the most exquisite medical care, probably as an out patient.
So, at long last, it’s time to say, “Bye-Bye, Binny!”

Then Al Qaeda simply repeats them and so, with all the people here at home in the particular political party out there with their remarks Al Qaeda does not need Osama bin Laden anymore, as this particilar political party seems to be about as credible these days in their anti-Bush Administration hate speech?
What is it going to take to get this political party to knock off the hate speech? If we withdraw from Iraq to make this political party happy then we lose the War on Terror and Al Qaeda and all the sneaky bad guys in the World will continue to do the same thing only with greater renewed motivation, as they claim victory. If this political party gets into office they will be helping our enemy win right? So, what are we going to do to get this political party to become true Americans once again, I ask?
After a year of silence, Osama bin Laden has filled the world’s headlines with an audiotape, and the predictable opinions are being heard. Is his offering of a truce a sign of weakness or strength? Is he making such statements because he is harried or is the statement a result of the recent U.S. missile attack in Pakistan? All of these questions are to be expected from a media that has usually asked: Is he really alive? Where is he? It rarely asks: What did he say/mean?
Bin Laden’s public statements - which have almost never been aired in full-length in the U.S. mainstream media - have been made primarily based on his religious/ideological considerations. He has consistently justified Al Qaeda’s actions and those of other jihad groups as a defensive struggle against Western encroachment on Islamic societies and the ‘apostate’ regimes currently ruling Muslim countries. Moreover, he has consistently elaborated basic themes: one-sided U.S. support for Israel at the expense of the Palestinians; U.S. historical and current support for ‘apostate’ Muslim regimes, such as that governing Saudi Arabia; the West’s pilfering of Muslims’ natural resources, especially oil; and the West’s cultural, political, and military attack on Muslims worldwide.
After the 9/11 attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., Al Qaeda was criticized by those within its own ideological persuasion, not for having attacked the U.S., but for not having followed correct religious procedures. It had failed to get the proper religious/legal rulings in support of such an attack; had not warned Muslims, women, children, and innocent civilians; and had not made an offer of peaceful resolution – all before attacking.
As of today, all of these conditions have been fulfilled with respect to the next attack in the U.S. Religious rulings have been obtained, warnings have been issued, and offers of a peaceful resolution - to accept a truce if the U.S. offers one - have been made. In Bin Laden’s mind, and in the minds of likeminded fundamentalist jihadists, all the preconditions have been met for directly attacking the United States. This is the real meaning of the audiotape.

I thought I’d chime up with my own tuppence worth on some issues that are raised by the recent Khalid Sheikh Mohammed debacle… The first thing I’d like to say is that it appears to have been widely appreciated just how ridiculous the “confessions” obtained by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed appear to be. For those who don’t know (if you have been living under a rock for the past week), Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has admitted to being the mastermind behind every terrorist atrocity, real and imagined, since about 1980. My main point is this: whilst many of us accept that at least some of these confessions seem a little spurious, how, therefore, can we accept any of them? I’m not going to go through and list the 30+ crimes that he has admitted to. Nor am I going to talk about the fact that, after 4 years of rigorous interrogation and probing, potential for torture, and generally inhumane treatment, even I might admit to things I did not do. No, I’m not. What I am going to say, though, is what this whole fiasco means to me. Firstly, the very fact that the American’s have chosen to announce their crime solving and terrorist-busting prowess to the world in this way suggests either a naivety beyond belief, or, more worryingly, a complete underestimation of the world’s ability to make their own conclusions. The persons responsible for announcing this “great” achievement obviously thought that the rock throwing masses would actually buy this story - or they believed the confessions themselves? I’m not sure which notion worries me more: that those responsible believed Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s alleged confessions; or that they made (some of) them up, and expected us to? Perhaps more worrying, though, is my main point. As we all seem to have realised that these confessions are invalid and “not worth the paper they are written on” (incidentally, how there ever came to be a transcript of secret interrogations is beyond me too) what does this mean for the The American War on Terror (or T.W.A.T, as I have seen it described)? What of WMD? What about all the terrible things we were told Saddam Hussein had done? What, now, do we make of those first assertions that it was all Osama Bin Laden’s fault? What of those videos we have all seen, you know, the ones where Osama Bin Laden admits to being a nasty pasty? After we have all finished resoundingly poo-pooing these confessions, perhaps we may consider this point more carefully: if these aren’t true, then what is? Is Osama Bin Laden really responsible for all the attacks on the west of which he stands accused? Could those videos not have been hoaxes or mock-ups? What of all the other countless things we have been fed, through the media, about various unsavoury characters, and their alleged misdemeanors (issued perhaps with the goal of creating one enemy with whom blame could be laid for everything, in order to help a War on Terror which would otherwise seem an incredibly large and impossible task)? I ‘d like to see some evidence. For example, how many of us who watched the Osama tapes on the news (at least the little sound-bity excerpts that they showed our tiny attention spans) and read the little subtitles at the bottom actually know what he was saying? By this I mean how many of us can speak Arabic? Further, how many of us actually know that this was absolutely, definitely, Osama Bin Laden making these wild claims? Very, very few. Yet we accept them as true. Is it too much of a stretch of the imagination to conclude that such stories may not be as valid as they first appear? I admire the American political publicity machine. Really I do. Who else could push their ideas and agendas forward so quickly and easily, and have them picked up by so many news stations across the globe? Who else could make an allegation without producing a shred of evidence (by this I mean actual valid evidence, which would have to be produced to accuse an ordinary man of an ordinary crime) and turn certain individuals into public enemy number 1 (and 2,3,4 etc)? But, alas, I fear with this one they may well have shot themselves in the foot. Once people begin questioning the validity of your statements, you are surely in trouble of never being believed, not unlike the boy who cried wolf. Perhaps it is precisely this kind of behaviour which has helped turn those people who are Anti-West against the west. I’m not saying that I condone any of the terrorist acts, indeed, I find them abhorrent. However, what I am saying is this: the actions taken by the American government in releasing the Khalid Sheikh Mohammed “confessions” is indicative of either incredible arrogance (in expecting to be believed) or extreme stupidity (in believing the confessions themselves). It is not hard to imagine (though it might require a degree of empathy) how one brought up in the Middle East, or of such extraction, upon whom western interests have had, in their opinion, a manifestly adverse impact on their community and/or country and/or region, might be a little perturbed at having this done by a west which has, as it’s one superpower, a country and Government which is perceived as either a) incredibly arrogant or b) extremely stupid. There are many unanswered questions I have about 9/11. As someone who worked on ground zero, in New York City, the first week immediately after the attack, I can truly say I love my country and am patriotic. I drove a rental car from Florida up to ground zero to work, when all the airports were shut down.
Minutes before President Bush arrived days after the attack and gave his ground zero speech, the response of the firemen, NYPD, and rescue workers was electric. They were all gathered around, some standing on bulldozers and heavy equipment, shouting "USA! USA! USA!" It was undoubtedly my most patriotic moment as an American.
President Bush said, "Whoever knocked these buildings down is going to hear from all of us." What is eery about 9/11 are all of the unanswered questions, inconsistencies of information, and the Bush administration's concealment of the truth. By withdrawing and withholding information about Saudi Arabia and Venice, FL pertinent to the events surrounding 9/11, President George W. Bush and Governor Jeb Bush of Florida make themselves equally suspect.
It is no news that President Bush likes to kiss and hold hands with the Saudi royal family. The Bush family has always been drawn to and involved with oil. Considering Saudi Arabia was particularly interested in Iraqi oil and protecting their Sunni brothers in Babylon, it was they who gave Bush & Co. the idea to invade Iraq in 2003. President Bush was considering invading Iraq long before 9/11. VP Cheney consistently answers to the Saudi royal family. Remember his rush visit in 2006, when he was beckoned by the Saudi king to bring Thanksgiving leftovers on Friday - a one day emergency visit to discuss Iraq and Saudi interests in the region.
This being said, it is no surprise why the Bush administration would want to remove documents detailing Saudi involvement in 9/11. The other unanswered questions of importance to me are why Mohamed Atta and his men were frequenting in Venice, FL. Venice is 2nd in the State of Florida for an elderly populace. Why would Mohamed Atta and his men choose to base their operation out of Venice?

It is known fact that Atta and the boys liked to frequent strip clubs in Miami, Sarasota, Daytona Beach, and Las Vegas. These guys weren't your typical Muslims and by no means were devout in their faith. They hung out at Harry's Bar in New York by the piano. They drank rum and vodka for hours.
Atta and his flying circus spoke very good English, dressed impeccably, carried briefcases, and were the perfect consumers. Before the attack of 9/11 they returned the rental car they had got at Warwick Rental Car Enterprise, which interestingly isn't listed in the yellow pages, neither is it registered as a business in the state of Florida. Warwick sounds like a business operation the CIA would be involved in. Atta & company rented two cars over five weeks from the rental agency.
Arab pilots flooded Venice, FL to attend two flight schools for a year. Both flight schools were Dutch owned and operated. Interestingly enough, the FBI's timeline on Mohamed Atta and his conspirators in aviation never mentioned Venice. The FBI knew of terrorists training at Rudi Dekkers flight school for quite some time.
Just how badly did the CIA want to cover up Venice in their investigation? Pretty earnestly by the looks of Florida Governor Jeb Bush on board of a military cargo plane with two Rider trucks full of documents from Rudi Dekkers flight school where Atta and the gang were flying. The FBI never got to finish the investigation of Venice and the Dekkers flight school as President George W. Bush halted their investigation and redirected their attention to working on anthrax. It kind of makes you wonder if just maybe the CIA was behind the anthrax debacle to sidetrack the FBI elsewhere away from the biggest 9/11 crime scene in Venice?
Some aviation companies to investigate which use each others names often "doing business as" (DBA) who were involved with Arab pilots and have very probable CIA links are: - Casablanca Air - FLAir - Huffman Aviation - Jones Aviation (Sarasota, FL) - Florida Flight Training Center - Sunrise Airlines (Las Vegas, NV) - Express Air (Phoenix, AZ)
The Washington Post on September 15 verified Mohamed Atta attended aerospace school in Alabama and a naval air station in Pensacola, FL.
Some say the foreknowledge issue is a red herring. Many allege the "Islamic Brigades" are a creation of the CIA and that Al Qaeda is categorized as an "intelligence asset". It is believed by some that supporting to terrorist organizations is an integral part of U.S. foreign policy, legitimizing and necessitating our ongoing clandestine operations.
The Venice Municipal Airport sure shut its mouth when investigations about Ruddi Dekkers became commonplace. It kind of suspiciously reminds me of Barry Seal and the drug dealings of Mena, Arkansas. Rudi's big backer in Naples, FL enabled a guy who was behind on his rent to quickly become a successful businessman rolling in the millions. As for the two Dutch nationals, they both purchased their flight schools the same year before all the Arabs began showing up for training. Interesting coincidences indeed.
The Gondolier Sun in Venice, FL called it "Evil in Our Backyard." A Sarasota county interdiction order told everybody to stay away from the Venice operation as it was "governmentally protected." It seems the Bush's also vacation in Venice. Perhaps this explains for the 23 helicopters that disappeared over time in Charlotte county.
Ironically Rudi Dekkers was later called upon to advice Congress on how to combat terrorism within the aviation industry. Not bad for a guy charged of sexual harassment of an 18 y/o girl.
It seems Ringling Brothers Circus, the OSS (a precursor to the CIA), and the Italian American Club all have strong ties to Venice, FL.
According to Ex-Director of the CIA, Richard Helms, who testified during the Cold War, the agency has the largest aviation company and fleet in the world.
Maybe this explains why President George W. Bush sat quietly and read "My Pet Goat" for several minutes after being informed of the attack in New York City (NYC). He thought it was more important to smoke cigars with Prince Bandar of Saudi before he went to ground zero to assess the damage.
Marvin Bush headed security at the world trade center in New York City. Go to YouTube and watch videos of the attack and you can hear an explosion several minutes after the planes had already crashed. Many firemen and people down below in the towers also mention hearing explosions. Moreover some people who worked at the world trade center mentioned security keeping them out at night for about two weeks preceding the attack while special security "procedures and protocol" were being taken.
Some believe the building was demolished and an inside job altogether. Building # 7 was unnecessarily "pulled' as demolitionists call it. No planes hit it, but since a sizeable insurance policy had been taken on the towers and the classified documents of stealth organizations were located therein, many had good reason to "pull it" to cover themselves.
When things don't seem to make sense, remember maybe they do in another way.

What he is thinking about is this: How can I kill all the bad Moslems and every Non-Moslem in the world so that we can fulfill the will of the Koran that the World has a big sign that even can be seen from space (to preclude Non-Moslem astronauts) that reads: MOSLEMS ONLY!

The FBI and the CIA spell Osama, “Usama.” They have to be precise in such things.
Call him what you want.
I call him a cowardly pig that kills defenseless men, women, and children, including his own people, and also small animal critters that may or may not occupy embassies and office buildings.
The FBI and the CIA are out to get Osama.
The reward for his capture is FIVE MILLION DOLLARS.
I intend to collect that reward by telling everyone exactly where he is.
The CIA can hire criminals and other unsavory characters in the search for Bin Laden.

The above is given as a public service to those hardcore individuals that just can’t get hired because of their criminal and unsavory nature. The CIA may have a job for you!
So that we are all on the same ground, let’s look at the CIA definition of terrorism found at the same reference: “The Intelligence Community is guided by the definition of terrorism contained in Title 22 of the US Code, Section 2656f(d):
“—The term “terrorism” means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.

“—The term “terrorist group” means any group that practices, or has significant subgroups that practice, international terrorism.”
Now we know that Lin Laden is just trying to get an audience!

Osama, or Usama for FBI and CIA enthusiast, was born to a rich and humble family who contracted with the Saudi Arabian Government to build roads and structures. They had major construction projects in Mecca.

I’ve said this over the last couple of years on my web sites but nobody believes me.
Osama tiptoed along the Afghanistan / Pakistan border until he reached Iran. Then he hopped a fishing boat to Saudi Arabia.
From there to get to Mecca was a snap. He rode in a Rolls Royce and was served sis kabob and lemonade.
I was there as a tourist (disguised as a Moslem, of course) when he sprightly hopped out of the Rolls.
He said, “Man, am I glad to be back! In the winter in those Pakistan mountains, it’s colder then a well digger’s butt in the Klondike!”
Now I know that the FBI and CIA are not allowed in Mecca.
